The 3rd Annual Dwayne Morgan Pop Up Shop was a success. With over twenty vendors selling great products and services taking a trip down to the Great Hall on Queen St wasn’t such a bad idea. The venue is a live theatre with a upper balcony. It wasn’t a big venue so the vendors weren’t spaced out but not too clustered. You had handcrafted jewelry, clothing, juices, soap, artwork, published books, coffee, sweets and treats and more. The atmosphere was great. The energy was uptempo. It was worth checking out. Some notable vendors was Tre Anthony from The Kink in my Hair and Francis Atta (motivational speaker). Both noteworthy of there involvement in the community. The man himself Dwayne Morgan had a personal booth selling many of his great books. He is a great poet with a spoken word series called Up From The Roots.
